Are you a songwriter willing to take your songs to the next level? Workshop your songs to be the best they can be, and get them out to the world.
SONGSALIVE! CHICAGO SONG CRITIQUE WORKSHOP WITH GUEST SPEAKER LAURA KESSLER
Now over 10 years old, Songsalive! is the world’s largest non-profit educational organization dedicated to the support and promotion of songwriters and composers worldwide. Songsalive! holds workshops where songwriters gather to share their songs, gain feedback and develop relationships within the songwriting communities we have created around the world. The workshop includes an in-the-round song critique session where writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live - and receive professional, constructive feedback on your song by a music industry professional. (Guest speakers from various arenas of the music industry give their time to give feedback, educate and provide opportunities and insight.) This is your chance to develop your songwriting in a supportive and intimate environment, meet invaluable music industry experts, network with fellow members, and be part of your local songwriters community. Songsalive! is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting songwriters and composers worldwide.
The Songsalive! Chicago Workshop is moderated by Mary Lemanski on the second Saturday of every month, and this month our industry guest speaker, Laura Kessler, will discuss “The Artist as Entrepreneur.”
