| Out again until late last night Me and the wife we had a terrible fight I got so mad that I just had to leave And have a couple beers down at Mogees As I was headed out toward the door Something sailed past me and it crashed on the floor She screamed, Where are you goingI want to know where!! I said, I dont exactly know and dont exactly care!! Down at the bar the band was playing it hot I sat and listened and I drank a lot Before too long I was acting a fool Fell over backwardsright off of my stool I tried to catch myself but I couldnt stop As luck would have it I fell on a cop He said, Wait a minute, boy, where are you going there? I said, I dont exactly know and dont exactly care!! The next thing I knew I woke up in jail Three days later I was out on bail I went to get my car but man I was hot Cause my wife done got it from the storage lot I walked on home in the sweltering heat My feet were burning as I walked down the street When I got there my wife was pulling away She smiled and waved and said, Have a nice day!! The letter inside said she was leaving Said shed had enough of worry and grieving I said, Where are you goingI want to know where!! She said, I dont exactly know and dont exactly care!!
