In the early 90's Johnny Mendola ( AKA Johnny Rock) had the chance to tour Asia as a bass player. By 1994 he was then setting up his own stadium shows in India. In mid 1994, Johnny learned of the international music market; and while hired by Stampede Records to promote a band named "Wishbone"; signed his first international record deal from a Holland based company. Do to the success of "Wishbone" Johnny was then hired by various other record labels to promote and manage their bands Internationally. This brought about a lot of international travel as well as attending international trade shows around the world( Midem France, Asia, Latin America, PopKom Germany and various film shows). From there Johnny Rock Enterprises was formed and opened up an office in Hong Kong. While securing license deals abroad and organizing stadium shows for acts such as Jose Feliciano, Lisa Stansfield, All for One and various other stars through out Asia; JRE became a world wide name.  Now for the 21rst Century we are now called IRL Music Group, Inc.
